Interior Designer & Visual Merchandiser Kimberly Foster
Kimberly creates beautiful unique designs that are reflective of each individual client within their budget and expectations. She has long been driven by a need for creativity and expression through art, design, and lifestyle. Her mother always said, “Never walk into the house with the lights off because you never know where the furniture will be, including the grand piano”.
Growing up in Southern California, she was influenced by a melting pot of cultures, natural elements, and art- which all have enriched and been infused into her designs. She has over 25 years in design, fashion, and home furnishings. She has worked in many niches, commercial design, home furnishings manufacturers showrooms, worked for and owned her own residential interior design firms and stores.
Kimberly has a philanthropic heart. One of Kimberly's most rewarding jobs was as a 5-year volunteer for the Suite Dreams Project through which she created healing spaces to benefit children who are home-bound with illnesses and disabilities. She has also been selected three times as a designer for Decorator's Show House, benefiting the St. Margaret's Guild, currently serves as a judge for the showcase and has donated proceeds from designated design projects to Gleaners Food Bank.
When not designing, Kimberly is engrossed in her art, “putting her hands in the earth”/gardening, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her two children when they are home from college.
